Where are you based?

I am currently tattooing out of Loco Tattoo which is loacted in Q Super Centre on the Gold Coast, Australia.

What days & hours do
you work?

I work Tuesday - Saturday 10:00am - 6:00PM.

What are your rates?

My half day rates are $600 and full day rates are $1,200. All smaller pieces will be quoted based on the size and detail of the piece rather than an hourly rate.

When will I see the design?

All my designs are drawn the night before the appointment. As I have such a busy schedule I don’t always have the time to design them before hand. So I need as much information about your tattoo to ensure my design is right.  When you arrive for your appointment, we will look over the design together and we can discuss any small changes needed. Rest assured that your satisfaction with the final design is paramount.

Is a deposit required?

Yes, all bookings require a $100 deposit to secure the appointment, and a full day appointment will require a $200 deposit. For all on going work this deposit will roll over each session and come off the final session of the completed tattoo.

Do you do cover ups?

Cover ups can be negotiated depending on what can be done and how open minded the client is. I do not re work or touch up existing tattoos by other artists.

How should I prepare
for my appointment?

A good nights sleep the night before and a nourishing meal before your appointment can do wonders. Make sure you are well hydrated and bringing some sugary snacks is always a good idea. Also ensure you are wearing appropriate and comfortable clothing that allows access to the body part you are getting tattooed

Aftercare & healing?

After your tattoo appointment, I will either wrap the tattoo in cling wrap or apply a second skin adhesive patch.

If I have applied cling wrap you should leave this on for at least an hour. Once you are home take off the cling wrap and give it a wash with warm soapy water in the shower, making sure you give it a good massage with your hands to remove all the excess blood and ink. Pat it dry with a clean towel and then let it air dry and apply no aftercare cream on the first day.

If I have applied a NumbSkulled adhesive patch you should leave this on for at least 24 hours, if you can leave it on for up to 5 days. The patch will fill up with fluid which is normal and will dry up over the next few days underneath the patch. If the seal is broken or begins leaking at any time take off the adhesive patch as soon as possible. When you are ready to remove the patch you will need to pull the skin surrounding the tattoo tight and slowly remove the adhesive patch under running water. You may experience some redness around the tattoo where the patch was applied but this is completely normal and can occur with any medical adhesive.

General healing :
It is advised to wash your tattoo twice a day. The goal is to keep your new tattoo as clean as possible without going overboard.
Apply a small amount of aftercare to your tattoo 2-3 times a day. It is important to use this aftercare sparingly as too much can suffocate your tattoo and cause complications.
Your tattoo will generally take 1-4 weeks to fully heal depending on placement, density, how well you look after it during healing and how strong your immune system is.

If you have any questions or are unsure about the healing of your new tattoo please email me and I will be happy to answer all of your questions.

I have sent a DM and haven’t heard back?

I am sorry but I do not take bookings through FB, IG or DM. It is far too many inboxes for me to keep track of. If you would like to book in for a tattoo please fill out an enquiry form through my website. Other wise all general enquiries can be sent to harry6hawkins@gmail.com

Can I bring a friend?

You are more than welcome to bring along a friend or loved one to your appointment for moral support. As I generally work in a shared space there isn’t always room for more than one friend in the workspace. If you bring more than that they are welcome to wait in the waiting area.
